Mykolaiv region suffers casualties as a result of shelling

The occupiers shelled Kutsurubska community in Mykolaiv region with artillery. The enemy aggression resulted in injuries and deaths, and damaged infrastructure.

This was reported by the press service of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine.

"In Mykolaiv region, the enemy shelled the territory of the Kutsurubska community with artillery," the statement said.

"According to preliminary information, 4 civilians were killed and 5 were injured.

There is damage to residential buildings and cars in the private sector. Damage to industrial facilities was also reported. The circumstances are being clarified.

On the night of April 10, air defense forces and means destroyed 12 Shahed 131/136 UAVs in Mykolaiv region.

Also at night, on April 10, at 03:00, a Shahed 131/136 UAV damaged an energy infrastructure facility in Mykolaiv district. Emergency power outages were introduced, and restoration works are underway.

In the morning, on April 9, at 04:30, Russians shelled the town of Ochakiv with artillery. A residential building and a car were damaged by a shock wave and shrapnel.

As a result of the evening rocket attack by Russians on Odesa district, four people were killed, including one child - a 10-year-old girl, and seven more people were injured. The prosecutor's office also reports 14 wounded. In Odesa district, transportation infrastructure and nearby trucks were damaged.

In Kherson region, a child was injured as a result of Russian aggression. During the shelling, the Russian occupiers hit residential areas of the region's settlements, including five private houses.

In addition, 14 settlements in Mykolaiv region were cut off from electricity due to shelling by the Russian army. On the night of April 8, air defense forces in Mykolaiv region destroyed two Shahed 131/136 UAVs. During the combat operations of the air defense forces, the wreckage of the downed UAV damaged power lines.

On Thursday, April 11, the Verkhovna Rada passed a bill regulating mobilization. The document was supported in the second reading. The bill must now be signed by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada and submitted to the President for his signature. After that, the law will come into force in a month.
