Mykolaiv plans to evacuate people from damaged buildings

As a result of the night shelling of Mykolaiv, some residents of the affected buildings are to be relocated.
This was announced by the mayor Oleksandr Senkevych during a telethon.
According to him, the Russians struck several districts of the city. The attacks resulted in destruction, people were injured, one woman was killed and several people were wounded. An infrastructure facility and a marketplace were hit, where firefighting lasted all night. The area has been heavily damaged.

"There are no military or other facilities related to military infrastructure here," the mayor said.
Sienkiewicz noted that significant damage was done to residential buildings, and some residents will be relocated. The shelling smashed windows and doors, destroyed partitions and damaged roofs. Utilities are already installing temporary protective structures on windows and repairing roofs as the weather is unstable. Work is also underway to remove construction debris.
He also added that residents of the affected buildings can go to specially equipped registration centers where they can receive assistance and construction materials. Information about the damaged property is recorded for further entry into the register. The mechanism for dealing with such situations in Mykolaiv has been worked out, as the city has been under shelling for over 200 days.
According to the updated data from the CMA, the number of victims of the Russian missile strike on Mykolaiv has increased to 23. People continue to seek medical care.
On the night of October 15, air defense forces in Mykolaiv region destroyed three Shahed-136/131 UAVs.
In addition, on October 14, at 10:50 a.m., the enemy attacked the Kutsurub community with FPV drones. There were no casualties.
Also yesterday, on October 14, at 11:30, the enemy fired artillery at the village of Lymani of the Halytsynivka community. As a result, a private house, an outbuilding and agricultural machinery were damaged. There were no casualties.
