According to Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych, despite the difficult financial year, Mykolaiv community is trying to continue supporting the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
"This time we are sending two vehicles. I hope they will help our defenders to successfully perform combat missions," Senkevych said.
One vehicle was purchased at the expense of the city budget, and the other was donated by Mykolaivpastrans.
The mayor also thanked the military for their service and taxpayers for the opportunity to support the army in such a difficult time.
At the end of September, the 54th Brigade received another batch of drones from the community of Mykolaiv. In total, 100 drones were delivered. In total, since the beginning of the invasion, Mykolaiv has provided over UAH 4.3 billion worth of aid to the Armed Forces.

One hundred backpacks contain everything they need for the first time: hygiene products, clothes, and goodies. The initiative of the city council was implemented with the help of the Stalevy Charitable Foundation and local businesses.
Residents of two villages in Mykolaiv region donated a pickup truck to the military and are assembling it into a boat for evacuating soldiers. This is the 36th vehicle for the Armed Forces.
Before sending the vehicle, residents of the villages of Lymani and Lupareve loaded it with camouflage nets, homemade pastries and goodies. Usually, in a month, volunteers manage to raise up to 10 thousand euros to buy equipment and other necessary items for the military.
