At least 1223 Russian army soldiers were buried in the temporarily occupied Crimea. 769 of them were probably citizens of Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the representative office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The post also says that the death toll may be higher, as Russia is hiding real losses.
It is noted that at least 40 Russian servicemen from the occupied Crimea have been confirmed captured, most of whom are likely to be Ukrainian citizens.
The press service also added that activists of the ATESH movement found out that the Sevastopol coast guard was reinforced with military boats. The agents also discovered a medium-range Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system in the Gagarin district of occupied Sevastopol. In addition to the SAM, there is a P-18 radar station there, which is used for early target detection.
The occupation administration continues to take measures to strengthen the protection of the so-called "Crimean bridge". To enhance security, metal fences are being erected along the bridge to provide additional protection for the piers. In addition, concrete tetrapods and metal structures similar to anti-tank barriers are being installed in the water near the bridge, welded together. Also, in the Kerch Strait, work is underway to install piles that are being driven into the seabed parallel to the bridge.
Earlier it was reported that the occupiers continue to use the civilian population of Crimea as a human shield for the Russian invaders. Thus, after the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit several military airfields in Crimea, the invaders from the Russian occupation army base helicopters on the sites of wastelands near residential buildings. In addition, various enemy air defense systems are deployed in the villages of Dzhankoy district on the outskirts of settlements.
