Loud in Crimea: occupiers' military facilities undergo another attack from the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On the night of August 16, the temporarily occupied Crimea was very noisy again. The Kerch Bridge was closed from 03:15 to 07:13.

According to the Telegram channel Krymsky Viter, there are currently many kilometers of queues on both sides of the road approaches to the bridge. There are more than 2000 cars in traffic jams.

It is also noted that explosions were heard in different parts of the peninsula. They were heard in Kerch, Bakhchisarai, Chornomorsk, Sevastopol and other places.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that five Ukrainian drones and two unmanned boats were destroyed at night over the sea and in the sea off the coast of Crimea. Ukraine has not yet officially commented on what happened that night in Crimea, but the spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Serhiy Bratchuk, said that a ferry in the port of Kerch and a boat in Chornomorsk were preliminarily hit. Further reconnaissance is ongoing.

Earlier it was reported that on the night of August 9, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The occupying governor of Sevastopol , Mikhail Razvozhayev, announced an "attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine". According to him, the occupiers allegedly shot down a Neptune anti-ship missile over the city's waters at a considerable distance from the coast, and also hit UAVs and marine drones. There were also explosions in other parts of the peninsula. For example, Crimean Wind reported shooting and a large explosion in Chornomorske, a village in the Yevpatoria district of Crimea, as well as Russian air defense operations near the Belbek airfield.

Also, on the night of August 2, an air alert was announced in Sevastopol. At night in Sevastopol on the heights of Kaya-Bash, a position of S-400 Triumph air defense systems was preliminarily hit by 4 MAZ-543-based launchers and a 92N6 radar. Local residents also report that a strong explosion was heard at night, not similar to the destruction of a UAV, but characteristic of a ground explosion. At the same time, Russian missiles were launched at night from launchers located near residential buildings in the area of Peremohy Park and Streletska Bay.
