In Mykolaiv, the consequences of shelling after Russian attacks are eliminated

Mykolaiv has developed a clear action plan to respond quickly to Russian shelling. Thanks to it, city services immediately arrive at the scene and begin to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack.
This was reported by the press service of Mykolaiv City Council.
According to Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych, all city services begin to operate after the "arrival".
Rescuers, police, medics, utilities and the district administration arrive at the scene. The authorities set up tents to help residents, where they can get help and find out what to do next. Law enforcement officers are also setting up a tent to collect information about damaged property.

On November 11, hostile Shahed 131/136 drones attacked Mykolaiv. As a result, 5 people died, residential buildings were damaged in two neighborhoods, and one was completely destroyed. The aftermath of the attack is still underway.
Dozens of utility workers and specialized equipment took part in the work. Mykolaiv parks engaged more than 20 employees, a tower, an excavator, trucks and a Bobcat. They removed 6 cars of garbage and removed 14 dangerous trees.

The administration of Korabelnyi district engaged 16 employees who removed more than 15 trucks of garbage. ELU Avtodorog engaged 10 employees and three vehicles.
The Pilot State Enterprise restored the broken windows, the emergency service dismantled the roof of the building, and Mykolaivoblenergo restored power supply.
Mykolaivoblteploenergo and Obriy removed a total of 22 cubic meters of garbage. The City for People company also restored communications in the damaged apartment building.

The mayor urged residents with damaged housing to contact the Department of Architectural and Construction Control for a commission inspection. He also increased payments to the injured and families of the victims.
On November 2, Mykolaiv declared a day of mourning for the citizens who died as a result of the November 11 attack by Russian occupiers. On that day, five Mykolaiv residents became victims of the aggressor. The enemy used a thermobaric type of Shaheda charge. This means that the occupiers deliberately hit residential areas of the city with a shell designed for maximum damage.
In the evening of November 14, Odesa was also under massive attack by Russian drones. Fires broke out in various places. A 35-year-old woman sleeping under a window was killed by enemy shelling. Also, 10 people were injured.
The attack damaged residential buildings, cars, a church, and an educational institution. Fires broke out at six different addresses, which rescuers quickly extinguished.
