In Kherson region, Russians killed a policeman and fired twice at a police car

On the evening of August 23, the Russian military insidiously attacked a police car with a drone. A 38-year-old employee of the Police Department for the Protection of Police Lieutenant Volodymyr Moskalenko was killed as a result of a direct hit .

This was reported by the police of the Kherson region and the Kakhovka city military administration.

According to the Kakhovka MVA, the man is survived by his parents, wife and two children: A 15-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son.

Law enforcement officers added that during the evacuation of the body of the deceased Moskalenko, the enemy attacked the patrol police department's official car again, causing mechanical damage to the car, but the officers were not injured.

Also, a 48-year-old local resident was injured in the explosion, suffering a mine-blast trauma and a shrapnel wound to his hip.

In addition, in the morning, on August 24, the Russian military shelled Kherson with mortars. As a result of the shelling, a 62-year-old woman who was at home sustained life-threatening injuries. A 63-year-old local resident was also injured during the morning shelling of Antonivka.

Prosecutors of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder.

Yesterday, on August 23, the Russian military shelled a cultural institution; residential areas of the region's settlements, including 3 high-rise buildings and 10 private houses. The occupants also damaged a gas pipeline and private cars. As a result of Russian aggression, 10 people were injured.

Earlier, on August 22, during the shelling, Russian occupants hit an educational institution and a store; residential areas of the region's settlements, including five high-rise buildings and nine private houses.
