Local residents in the temporarily occupied Crimea continue to resist the occupiers.
This was reported by the press service of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The post said that a resident of occupied Kerch opposed Russian aggression against Ukraine: he hung a Ukrainian flag on the balcony of his house and played the Ukrainian anthem. The occupation administration forces detained him and wrote a report, sending the case to the occupation "court".
Also, a 26-year-old resident of occupied Yalta posted Ukrainian symbols on social media and expressed support for the Ukrainian Defense Forces and shaved a trident on the back of his head. The occupation administration forces detained him, forced him to apologize on camera, and wrote a report, sending the case to the occupation "court".
It is also said that one of the residents of Feodosia was illegally detained by the occupation administration on trumped-up charges of allegedly photographing ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and passing their coordinates to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
It is noted that activists of the Yellow Ribbon movement continue to resist the Russian invaders in Crimea. They systematically destroy propaganda materials of the occupation administration, distribute Ukrainian symbols and post leaflets calling for resistance in the settlements of the peninsula. In particular, the activists spread Ukrainian slogans through patriotic graffiti and inscriptions that appear on the walls of buildings, near propaganda posters, and in other public places. The movement also continues the Letters to Ukraine campaign, which conveys the thoughts and hopes of Ukrainians who remain under occupation. Despite the constant propaganda, our people remember their identity, resist Russian influence and continue to fight for the liberation of the peninsula.
Meanwhile, activists of the Crimean Fighting Seagulls movement continue to disclose personal information of collaborators and Russian war criminals operating in occupied Crimea. They publish not only addresses, contact numbers and routes, but also details of financial transactions, bank account information and connections with the occupation administration and Russian law enforcement agencies. In particular, they provide evidence of their involvement in crimes against Ukraine and the residents of the peninsula.
It is also said that the activists of the "Evil Nymph" spread patriotic graffiti, stickers and leaflets calling for resistance to the occupation, covering Simferopol, Yalta, Yevpatoria, Sevastopol and other cities. They organize actions to destroy Russian propaganda materials, maintaining morale among local residents and informing them about possible ways to de-occupy Crimea.
The Mission continues to receive requests from Ukrainian citizens who want to leave Crimea because they cannot tolerate the occupation and total propaganda. The press service reminded of the instructions on how to leave the temporarily occupied Crimea.
