The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported on the consequences of the missile and drone attack on Odesa that took place last night.

This was discussed at a briefing.

According to Kiper, air defense forces destroyed about 25 targets, but some missiles hit civilian and port infrastructure. A total of seven facilities were damaged.

The head of the Odesa JMA noted that one of the downed missiles struck three locations at once. It had a cluster munition. The explosion of the warheads killed a woman who was standing near the window of her house. Another 10 people were wounded, including a 9-year-old boy. Nine of the injured are currently in hospital, some of them in serious condition.

"This rocket was a cluster missile, and these metal particles damaged several houses nearby," he said.

On November 14 , Russian forces attacked the center of Odesa using rockets and drones. The attack damaged a church, residential buildings, a store, garages, a main heating pipeline, and vehicles. Windows were smashed in many buildings, and balconies and roofs caught fire on some. The shelling damaged the main district heating pipeline.

According to Yuriy Ihnat, acting head of the communications department of the Air Force of Ukraine, the drones were flying to Odesa from Krasnodar region and Crimea. The military officer emphasized that it was an attack by "shaheds," not drones of the so-called "unidentified type" that are constantly flying from the north mixed with real attack drones.

Earlier, Russian troops also massively attacked Odesa and its suburbs with kamikaze drones. There were numerous explosions, a school, a gas pipeline and many houses were destroyed.
