Explosions in Kherson region: Russians use ballistic missiles

The Russian army launched a missile attack with a ballistic missile on the Beryslav district of Kherson region.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the JFO, Russians killed one civilian and wounded two others in Kherson region over the past 24 hours, on December 18.
According to the official, 38 villages and towns came under attack, including: Tyahynyka, Bilozerk, Bila Krynytsia, Pozlyv, Chervonyi Mayak, Shyroka Balka, Stanyslav, Zolota Balka, Tomyna Balka, Mylove, and Ingulets, Odradokamyanka, Antonivka, Sadove, Molodizhne, Prydniprovske, Zmiivka, Lviv, Okokovka, Mykilske, Monastyryske, and Tokarivka.
In addition, the invaders fired at Mykhailivka, Kizomys, Olhivka, Dniprovske, Virivka, Novovorontsovka, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Poniativka, Tomaryne, Beryslav, Zelenivka, Vesele, Veletynske and Kherson. The enemy also launched a ballistic missile attack on Beryslav district.
As a result of the attack, three multi-storey buildings, 11 private houses, a gas pipeline, public courts and several private vehicles were damaged.
According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, on December 18, at about 17:00, Russian military attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Korabelny district of Kherson.
As a result of the explosives dropped, a man was killed, and another civilian in the car was injured and hospitalized. The prosecutor's office launched a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings over a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The SES added that in the afternoon, the occupiers fired on the village of Bilozerka. One of the enemy shells hit a private yard, and a fire broke out. Rescuers quickly eliminated it, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.

At a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, asked President Zelensky to help create a"protective dome" system that could protect residents and critical infrastructure in Kherson from attacks by Russian drones.
