JSC Khersongaz has been forced to temporarily disconnect Sadove of the Kherson city territorial community from natural gas supply.

This was reported by Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson MVA.

The post says that due to massive artillery shelling, ongoing UAV attacks and critical danger that makes it impossible to perform work, 168 damages to gas networks have accumulated in the village of Sadove. In addition, gas supply to 53 private houses out of 298 was forcibly interrupted due to damage or destruction of houses and gas networks.

The Khersongaz team warned the city administration that specialists cannot properly ensure the distribution of natural gas in Sadove and respond to emergency calls, especially at night, when nothing is visible and the use of lamps, lanterns or vehicle headlights is dangerous. The enemy is actively hunting specialized vehicles and critical infrastructure workers, which is confirmed by injuries to employees and the destruction of equipment and vehicles.

Mrochko added that on September 4, the Russian occupiers caused further damage to houses and the gas network. Therefore, Khersongaz specialists are forced to remotely stop supplying natural gas to Sadove. Inspection, repair and restoration will be possible only after the security situation in the coastal settlement improves.

The head of the MVA noted that the Kherson City Military Administration is developing a mechanism for supplying alternative energy sources to natural gas, which are necessary for cooking and heating people who remain in the danger zone.

Earlier it was reported that during the strikes on the liberated part of Kherson region on September 4, the Russian military hit critical infrastructure facilities, a cellular tower, an administrative building and an office building; residential areas of the region's settlements, including six private houses. The occupants also damaged a gas pipeline and private cars.
