Kherson doctors are fighting for the life of a 14-year-old girl who was injured in a Russian shelling on September 3.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Medical Center Oleksandr Prokudin.

The official's post says that she is still in serious condition. The child lost one and a half liters of blood, and doctors had to amputate part of one arm due to significant injuries. It will take some time to stabilize the condition of the seriously injured girl. It is planned to evacuate her to another region of the country for further treatment.

On this day, the Russian armed forces dropped explosives from a UAV on a street in Kizomys, Kherson district. The attack killed a 45-year-old man who was riding a bicycle. A 76-year-old local woman was also injured by an enemy drone in Antonivka. She suffered an explosive injury and traumatic amputation of her leg. At about 3:20 a.m., the Russian army conducted a combined shelling of Kherson with cannon artillery and MLRS, hitting an apartment building. A 14-year-old girl was seriously injured. The child was injured around 4:00 when Russian terrorists attacked the central district of Kherson. She was hospitalized. The girl has a contusion, closed head and explosive trauma, shrapnel wounds to the chest and both arms, and a pneumothorax. All the wounded are being provided with the necessary medical care.

Also, on September 3, one person was killed and one wounded in the Kherson territorial community as a result of Russian shelling of Sadove. According to the investigation, on September 3, 2024, at about 09:10, the enemy fired on Sadove in the Kherson district. As a result of the occupiers' attack, a 67-year-old man was killed, and his wife sustained explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds. Both were in the house at the time of the shelling.
