Investigation into the so-called "head of Skadovsk municipal district" is completed
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The post says that prosecutors of the Kherson Regional and Skadovsk District Prosecutor's Offices sent an indictment to court against a local resident on the facts of voluntary election to an illegal authority (Part 1 of Article 28, Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that in September 2023, the accused took part in illegal elections to the "council of deputies of the Skadovsk municipal district" from the United Russia political party. As a result of the "expression of will", he received a "mandate of deputy of the first convocation". In November 2023, he filed his candidacy for election as the "head of the Skadovsk municipal district". In his pseudo-position, the man approved the composition of the personnel commission of the "district", the rules of improvement, regulations on the establishment, reorganization or liquidation of enterprises, the distribution of revenues to the "budget", etc.
The special pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by the SBU in Kherson region.
Earlier it was reported that a resident of Kherson region, who became the "director" of a medical college under the occupiers, was sentenced to 12 years in prison. It was proved in court that in August 2022, the woman collaborated with the enemy and took the position of the so-called "director" of the Genichesk Medical College, which was seized by representatives of the aggressor country. The protege of the occupation authorities began to implement Russian educational standards.
It was also said that two ex-police officers from Kherson region, who joined the occupiers in Genichesk, were accused. The investigation established that the defendants began to support the enemy after the full-scale invasion of Russia. In 2022, both went to "serve" the occupiers in the pseudo-law enforcement agencies established in the territory of the Genichesk district.
