The day before, fire and rescue units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kherson region, together with local fire brigades, responded 20 times to extinguish fires, 11 of which were caused by enemy shelling.

According to the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kherson region, residential buildings, outbuildings, and non-residential buildings were on fire. While extinguishing a fire in an apartment building, rescuers found the body of a victim.

Also in Kherson, rescuers helped to transport a victim from the roof of a building. Thus, at night, the Kherson Rescue Service received a report that a woman was on a store building, who, according to preliminary data, had fallen out of a window and needed emergency assistance. The rescuers, together with medical workers, removed the victim from the roof and transported her to an ambulance.

On August 13, in the evening, the occupiers attacked the central part of Kherson. The roof of a residential building, an outbuilding and a car caught fire in a private yard as a result of a munition hit. Rescuers quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. In total, during the day, fire and rescue units of the Kherson region eliminated 17 fires, 12 of which were caused by enemy shelling.

OnAugust 8, the Kherson 101 service received a report that smoke was coming out of the windows of an apartment on the second floor in an apartment building. Rescuers used a ladder to get into the apartment. As it turned out, the smoke was caused by food left on the stove, and in one of the rooms firefighters found an unconscious resident of the apartment. The man was taken out into the fresh air, given first aid, revived and transported to an ambulance.

Earlier it was reported that during July 30, rescuers in Kherson region extinguished 15 fires, 11 of which were caused by enemy shelling. The body of the deceased was removed from the rubble and an elderly woman was treated. Residential buildings, outbuildings, a warehouse and a metal kiosk were burning as a result of ammunition. Seven fires were extinguished in ecosystems on a total area of 42.08 hectares.
