After the territorial defense forces of the aggressor country began large-scale exercises in annexed Crimea with massive checkpoints in coastal areas and checks of cars with documents, the queues in front of the Kerch Bridge on the Crimean side immediately increased, while on the Russian side they became shorter.

According to the Crimean branch of the international movement for the de-occupation of Crimea #LiberateCrimea, the active phase of the exercises began on September 26 and marked the beginning of a massive departure of frightened tourists from Crimea.

"It is noteworthy that on September 27, Crimea celebrated the Tourism Day and talked about plans for the number of tourists in the velvet season, but what kind of tourists can there be when there is a real shmooze on the roads. Our activists from the coastal settlements report that many tourists are frightened and are leaving Crimea in a hurry," #LiberateCrimea noted.

According to the activists, October is traditionally the last month of the velvet season, but this year, due to the exercises that have unfolded in Crimea, it can be stated that it has been disrupted:

"Apart from the tourists who left earlier, there will be few people willing to go on vacation to a region where your car is stopped for inspection and you feel like a criminal. Although according to Ukrainian law, such tourists are criminals, so they are not to be pitied," #LiberateCrimea added.

Earlier, the Center for Investigative Journalism(CIJ) said that the occupiers began to install anti-drone "grills" at railway infrastructure facilities. At the same time, the occupation business continues to sell apartments built right next to the trenches in the prohibited beach area. The Crisis Group also reports that the Russian military is installing concrete structures - checkpoints or shelters - in the settlements of the southwestern coast of Crimea.

Before that, theATESh guerrilla movement reported that Russians were installing two rows of old barges along the Kerch bridge that are no longer in use, and erecting a new fence around the perimeter. Prior to that, the enemy was moving Russian air defense systems from Crimea closer to the Crimean bridge, but on Russian territory. The convoy was accompanied by military vehicles.

According to the guerrillas, this indicates that Russia's defense system is facing serious problems related to the insecurity of certain areas, such as the Kursk region.

In addition, Kirill Budanov, the head of the GUR , said that from a military point of view , it is much easier to recapture Crimea than Donbas, because there are two points of entry into Crimea - from the Russian side and from ours: The Crimean bridge and the land isthmus.
