In the seaport of Feodosia, railroad trains with special wagons for the transportation of grain and other bulk cargo were spotted.
According to Krym.Realii, the grain cars are located both at the railway station and at the port's berth. In particular, some cars are marked with the logo of Rostov-based Agro-Fregat LLC. Earlier, Krym.Realii reported that Russia uses the wagons of this Rostov company to export grain through the Crimean ports closed by Ukraine.
Russian authorities have publicly confirmed that they are exporting Ukrainian grain from the occupied territories to the annexed Crimean peninsula. The Russian head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov (Aksyonov in the documents), admitted that Russia was selling Ukrainian grain. However, Aksyonov later said that Crimean ports do not load grain for direct deliveries abroad.
Earlier, in the waters of Odesa region , security forces detained a foreign cargo ship and its captain, who worked for the Russians. The ship was flying the flag of one of the Central African countries, and its crew was fulfilling an order from Russia to export Ukrainian grain from the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to the investigation, during 2023-2024, the ship repeatedly docked at the seaport of Sevastopol to pick up the looted agricultural products. The ship then transported the cargo to the Middle East for sale to the aggressor country. According to the investigation, the captain of the cargo ship is a citizen of one of the South Caucasus countries. In addition to him, the ship 's crew included 12 other foreigners.
The SBU noted that within the framework of the criminal proceedings, the suspect's vessel was towed to Odesa region and arrested by a court decision. The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime and other persons involved in the illegal activity.
As a reminder, the cargo ship Usko Mfu flying the flag of Cameroon was detained in the port of Reni in Odesa region because it unloaded cargo in Sevastopol from Turkey in late May and early June.
