A resident of Kherson region, who worked in a senior position for the occupiers under a pseudonym, was sentenced

A woman who worked under a pseudonym as the head of a department in the occupation administration of Kherson has been convicted.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The post says that a local resident was found guilty of collaborationism (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) for supporting the public prosecution of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office. It is noted that, given her cooperation with the investigation, she was sentenced to three years in prison. She was also deprived of the right to hold positions in state and local government for a period of 10 years.
It was proved that in August 2022, the woman took up the position of the so-called "Head of the Social Policy Division of the Department of Social Policy" in the occupation administration of Kherson. In this position, she performed administrative and economic functions, tasks assigned to her by the "management". To avoid responsibility, she worked for the enemy under a pseudonym.
The woman will be kept in custody until the verdict enters into force. The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the SBU Office in Kherson region.
Earlier it was reported that the Court of Appeal upheld the guilty verdict of the Lutsk City District Court of May 2, 2024, against one of the ideologues of the "Russian Spring" and organizer of pro-Russian riots and separatist movements in Kherson - Georgy Tambovtsev. In the ruling of the Court of Appeal, he was found guilty of working for the occupiers as a deputy of one of the so-called "ministers" of Kherson region.
It was also said that the so-called "head of the Department of Labor and Social Protection in Kherson District" of the region, Tatiana Tritenko, appointed by the occupiers, received a court sentence. The court found the "official" guilty under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced her to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
