Odessa's "Chornomorets" played to a 0-0 draw against Lviv's "Karpaty" in a Ukrainian Premier League Matchday 10 game. The visitors were reduced to ten men as early as the fifth minute of the match, but the Odesa team was unable to capitalize on their numerical advantage.

According to an Intent correspondent, early in the match, “Karpaty” defender Jean Pedroso received a red card following an incident involving “Chornomorets” player Pushkaryov. Despite this, the Lviv team kept their goal intact.

In the first half, the Odessa team tried to threaten the opponent’s goal with shots from outside the penalty area and crosses, but failed to score before halftime. After the break, “Chornomorets” continued to attack.

In the 72nd minute, Farina’s shot hit the post. Another dangerous moment came from Mba, who broke into the penalty area but shot wide of the far post. Toward the end of the match, “Karpaty” also had a chance to score, but Hobe deflected the ball for a corner kick after Dedov’s shot toward the empty net.

In the end, the match ended scoreless. “Chornomorets” took 11 shots, only one of which was on target. “Karpaty” had six shots, three of which were on target.

Following this draw, the Odessa team has six points and is in 14th place in the UPL standings.
