Mykolaiv athletes won gold at the European Diving Championships. The Ukrainian national team won the first award at the European Diving Championships, which started on May 22 in Antalya, Turkey. On the first day of the competition, the Ukrainian team triumphed in the mixed team diving discipline, taking first place.

The team consisted of Ksenia Bailo, Kirill Bolyukh, Sofia Lyskun and Alexey Sereda. The athletes demonstrated their skills in the 3-meter springboard and 10-meter tower jumps, performing both single and synchronized jumps. As a result, the Ukrainians scored 407.20 points, putting them ahead of strong teams from Germany and Italy.

This is Ukraine's second consecutive gold medal in the mixed team event at the European Championships. In 2023, the Ukrainians won in Rzeszów, and in 2022 and 2024 they won silver in Rome and Belgrade, respectively. Thus, since 2022, our team has not missed a single podium in this discipline.
