Two people were killed and 24 wounded in the Kherson region as a result of Russian attacks

In the Kherson region, two people were killed and another 24 were wounded over the past day as a result of Russian shelling. More than three dozen settlements in the region, including Kherson, came under attack.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
According to him, over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked the Kherson region with airstrikes, artillery, and drones. Antonivka, Komyshany, Darivka, Stanislav, Beryslav, Novoberyslav, Milove, Tyahynka, Burgunka, Olgivka, and other settlements, as well as the city of Kherson, came under enemy fire.
The enemy targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. According to the regional military administration, 18 high-rise buildings, 17 private homes, a church, a gas station, stores, gas pipelines, a utility building, private garages, and vehicles were damaged.
Two people were killed and another 24 were wounded as a result of the Russian aggression.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that a pre-trial investigation has been launched into allegations of war crimes.
According to the investigation, on the morning of July 25, Russian troops carried out a massive artillery barrage on several districts of Kherson. A 47-year-old man was killed, and seven other people were injured.
During another artillery strike on the regional capital that occurred in the afternoon, an elderly man was killed, and three other residents were injured.
In addition, six civilians in Kherson were injured as a result of attacks by Russian drones.
Recently, in the Central District of Kherson, the occupierskilled Anzhelika Pereverzeva, an employee of the Kherson Regional Military Administration. She was set to turn 46 in eight days.
Earlier, it was reported that 48-year-oldvolunteer Olena Tarasenko died in Kherson after spending a month and a half in the hospital following a Russian shelling. During the occupation of the city, she helped evacuate people and survived Russian captivity.
Tarasenko sustainedsevere shrapnel wounds on May 24. At around 9:45 a.m., the Russian armyshelled the Korabelny district ofKherson with artillery. At that time, she was behind the wheel of a car.
Iryna Bayrachenko, a volunteer from Kherson, was also killed by a Russian drone. Her school-age daughter, Margarita, was left without a mother.
