The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority has a new head

Mykola Kravchuk has been appointed as the new head of USPA. He previously worked in water transport, has many years of management experience and military honors.

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

Mykola Kravchuk has been appointed head of the state enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority. The decision was made by Oleksiy Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine, Minister of Community and Territorial Development.

Prior to his new appointment, Kravchuk had been heading the State Service of Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping of Ukraine since July 2025. The official has more than ten years of management experience in the public sector and at enterprises.

He graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs with a degree in law. For his contribution to supporting Ukraine's defense capability, Kravchuk was awarded the Armed Forces of Ukraine - the third degree badge "For Service and Victory" and the honorary badge "For Assistance to the Army".

From 2011 to 2023, Mykola Kravchuk held senior positions at enterprises, in particular, from 2022 to 2023, he was Deputy Director and First Deputy Director of Kyivblagoustrii. In May 2023, he was elected to the position of the Head of Obukhiv District State Administration in Kyiv Oblast.

In February, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to dismiss Yevhen Ihnatenko, Head of the State Service of Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping of Ukraine, from his post. The current first deputy head, Mykola Kravchuk, who was born in Kyiv, was temporarily assigned the duties of the head of the service.

At the end of January, a public-private partnership (PPP) project at theChornomorsk port was presented in Brussels, noting that its terminals are among the most promising container facilities in Ukraine. The event was organized by the European Commission for Ukrainian and European investors.
