Temporary power outages in Mykolaiv and the region: where scheduled works will be carried out

On Wednesday, June 10, temporary power outages are planned in Mykolaiv and a number of settlements in the Mykolaiv region. The reason for this will be repair work, reconstruction of networks and maintenance of electrical equipment.
According to JSC Mykolaivoblenergo, the works will be carried out in Mykolaiv, Korabelna, Varvara, Berezan and Novoodeska districts. As a result, residents of dozens of streets and individual settlements in the region will be left without electricity for some time.
Most of the addresses where the work is planned are in Mykolaiv and Korabelny districts of the city. The outages will also affect Berezanska and Novoodeska communities.

Power engineers emphasize that the restrictions are planned and necessary to maintain stable operation of the power grids. Residents are asked to take into account possible inconveniences in advance and check the latest information about their addresses on the distribution system operator's resources.
Earlier, temporary power outages were planned in the Mykolaiv region on May 11 due to repair, reconstruction and maintenance of the grids. Residents of a number of settlements and districts of the region will be temporarily left without electricity.
Recently, Mykolaiv region was again attacked by enemy drones of the Shahed type. The main target of the enemy was the region' s energy infrastructure.
As a reminder, as a result of the latest hostile attacks, a new regime of power outages was introduced in Mykolaiv district of Mykolaiv region due to limited grid capacity.
The morning attack by Russian troops on Mykolaiv on February 22 damaged energy infrastructure facilities. The occupiers used Shahed attack drones, which led to large-scale blackouts in the city.
