Rescuers in Kherson region receive new equipment

The Chornobaiv community has received a fire truck and specialized equipment to respond to emergencies.

This was reported by the Chornobaiv Village Military Administration.

The equipment was handed over with the support of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kherson Oblast and with the assistance of international partners, the Scottish Emergency Rescue Association.

The community emphasizes that the equipment will significantly enhance the ability to respond to emergencies, which is especially important in the context of martial law and constant threats.

The donated fire truck and equipment will help rescuers to eliminate the consequences of shelling, fires and other dangerous situations faster, as well as increase the overall level of safety of local residents.

The military administration emphasized that such support is not only material assistance, but also a manifestation of solidarity and international partnership with Ukraine.

s Intent previously reported, the Kherson community received a batch of electric heaters as part of international support. The equipment will help the city's residents to survive possible heat supply interruptions in the next heating season.

A comprehensive program aimed at protecting and assisting women, girls and other vulnerable categories of citizens has been launched in Kherson Oblast. The project aims to create a safe environment and provide the necessary support to people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances as a result of hostilities and occupation.

It also became known that the team of doctors in Kherson region started working for free. It has already been operating in Bila Krynytsia, Karyerne, Pervomaiske, Bilousove and Tverdomedove. Thanks to the Fortitude mobile clinics, more than 250 residents of Beryslav district received free medical care.

As a reminder, the Chornobaivka Village Council in cooperation with the Kherson Regional Charitable Foundation "United" processed 258 recovery ideas submitted by residents of the Chornobaivka community.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, four projects were identified based on the results of the review, which will be implemented in 2025.
