The Peresypsk District Prosecutor's Office won a lawsuit against a private company, forcing it to pay almost UAH 8 million in equity participation to the budget for infrastructure development.
This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors found that in 2017-2021, a private company was building a two-section 21-storey building near the Luzanivka resort area. However, contrary to the requirements of urban planning and budget legislation, the company did not pay the mandatory share participation in the development of the engineering, transport and social infrastructure of the settlement. This contribution is required by law to be paid by all companies that started construction or reconstruction before 2021.
Earlier, after the intervention of the Prosecutor's Office in Odesa, the developer paid more than UAH 2.5 million in equity participation to the city budget. The agency explained that in 2019-2022, the company was building a furniture store in Odesa. Although the construction was completed and the facility was ready for operation, the developer did not submit an application to the city council to calculate the equity participation and did not enter into a relevant agreement.
YC.Market's analytical team counted 363 companies in Odesa region with a total revenue of more than UAH 1 million.
Detectives of the territorial department of the Bureau of Economic Security in Odesa region also completed a pre-trial investigation against the director of a construction company. It was established that the director of the company deliberately included in the tax accounting transactions for the fictitious purchase of cement, mineral powder and adhesive additives from a number of companies worth almost UAH 60 million, but in fact such transactions did not take place.
