Two officers and a minor girl they were driving home were injured in a traffic accident involving a patrol police vehicle.

This was reported by the Odesa Regional Patrol Police.

According to law enforcement officials, the patrol officers received a report about a minor girl who needed assistance. Upon arrival, the officers contacted her father and, at his request, decided to take the girl home.

The girl was placed in the patrol car. The officers turned on the flashing lights and began driving.

During the trip, the patrol car collided with a Kia Cerato. As a result of the accident, the patrol officers and the underage passenger were injured.

The driver and passenger of the Kia Cerato also sought medical attention.

Investigators are currently determining the circumstances and causes of the accident.

Recently, an employee of the Podilskyi District Territorial Center for Civil Protection and Emergency Situations, who was conducting a mobilization alert, struck a 2.5-year-old boy in one of the villages of the Balt community. At that moment, the child had wandered away from his father, with whom he had been on the road. After the accident, the driver left the scene.

For its part, theOdesa Regional Recruitment and Mobilization Center stated that law enforcement authorities are currently investigating all the circumstances of the accident, which occurred on September 3 in the Podilskyi District. The Regional Recruitment and Mobilization Center is assisting with the necessary investigative measures within the scope of its authority.
