On April 12, residents of the Peresypskyi district of Odesa were left without electricity supply due to an accident.
This was reported by the press service of DTEK Odesa Power Grids.
"On April 12, at 13:55, an equipment failure occurred. Residents of Peresypskyi district of Odesa were partially left without electricity. There may be interruptions in the operation of critical infrastructure facilities," the company said.
This is the second accident to affect this area of the city in the last two days. On April 11, at 17:09, residents of Odesa district of the region were partially left without electricity. There may be interruptions in the operation of critical infrastructure facilities. These were Khadzhybey and Peresypsky districts of the city.
Earlier, as a result of a nighttime Russian attack on Odesa, 130,200 consumers in Odesa and the south of the region were left without electricity, but as of 3 p.m. on April 11, the supply was restored.
Two people died as a result of a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle hitting a residential area in Odesa on the night of April 11 - the drone hit a private one-story house and killed them. Civilian infrastructure was severely damaged: dozens of private and apartment buildings, a dormitory, and a kindergarten building. Windows were smashed, roofs and facades were damaged. Catering facilities were damaged. Infrastructure facilities also came under attack. Utilities have been working at all locations since nightfall. The specialists have closed the damaged windows, patched roofs and cleared the areas of debris and remnants.
On the night of April 10, Odesa region again suffered a massive attack by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles on its energy and port infrastructure. The damage led to disruptions in power supply. Empty tanks and port equipment were also damaged. There were no casualties. The fires have been localized. All emergency services are working at the scene. The consequences are being recorded and eliminated.
