In Odesa, there are plans to partially or completely demolish a number of buildings and structures that were damaged or destroyed as a result of Russian aggression.
This was announced during a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Odesa City Council.
According to the draft resolution, there are two lists of structures: those requiring partial demolition of certain parts or structures, and those proposed for complete demolition.
Partial Demolition
The list includes 12 structures. Among them are apartment buildings at 22 Primorska Street, 32 Knyaz Yaroslav Mudryi Avenue, 16-A/5 Valeriya Samofalova Street, 2/2 Kordonny Lane, 12-A Literaturnaya Street, Building 2, and 81 Akademika Korolyova Street.
In addition, proposals have been made to partially demolish the hotel complex at 1 Khalaydzhoglo Lane, as well as non-residential buildings at 9, 3rd Vodoprovidnyi Lane; industrial buildings at 1 Pryvozna Street; a non-residential polyclinic building with outdoor structures at 38 Bolgarska Street; and other facilities.
This list also includes the buildings and structures of the third phase of the grain terminal, as well as the administrative and support buildings at 2a Hans Hermann Street.
Complete Demolition
Six more properties have been added to the list of those proposed for complete demolition. Specifically, these include a residential building at 35 Agronomichna Street, an apartment building at 52 Otaman Golovaty Street, and a film production facility and film archive at 3-A Fontanska Road.
The list also includes non-residential buildings and structures at 52-A Chornomorskogo Kozatstva Street, 9 3rd Vodoprovidny Lane, and one additional property.
The basis for preparing these proposals was the decisions of the regional commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations, as well as the recommendations set forth in technical reports on the inspection and assessment of the condition of building structures.
