The conflict between the military on Black Sea Cossacks Street in Odesa gained resonance due to false reports on the Internet. The CCC emphasizes that the situation is under control and that the perpetrators have already been disciplined.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional CCC and JV.

The Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support denied the information about the alleged "shooting at people" in the Peresypsky district. According to official data, on February 26, 2026, while performing their duties along the alert route, a domestic conflict arose between two servicemen.

During the dispute, one of the servicemen violated discipline and fired a blank cartridge into the air with an Erma stun gun. There were no casualties, no service weapons were used.

The TCC emphasized that the information spread online about the shooting at "those who were running away from the draft" is unreliable and is intended to discredit mobilization activities.

The center's management has already conducted an investigation, and the guilty servicemen have been brought to strict disciplinary responsibility. The materials of the incident have been drawn up in accordance with the established procedure.

The TCC urged the media and the public to use only verified information to avoid becoming an instrument of information attacks that threaten the state's defense capability.

Also in February, the Odesa regional CCC and JV told what happened during the inspection of military registration documents. On February 9, during the notification activities in Odesa, a joint group of military personnel of the CCC and JV together with a representative of the National Police stopped a man to check his military registration documents.

During the check, it turned out that he was wanted for violating the rules of military registration. The man was offered to go to the unit to clarify the data, to which he agreed. However, on the spot, he suddenly became aggressive and deliberately injured himself.

At the same time, Fevzi Mamutov, the head of the Crimean Tatars of Odesa Region NGO and a member of the Odesa Regional Council, reported that an ambulance driver was beaten by TCC employees.
