Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smelyansky and MP Oleksiy Honcharenko, who was elected to represent the interests of residents of Odesa Oblast in the Verkhovna Rada, have exchanged statements to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine demanding an audit of each other's activities.
According to Ihor Smelyansky, he appealed to the NABU to check the activities of the Honcharenko Centers, including the sources of funding for these institutions.
"If we believe the declaration, he cannot support more than 40 Goncharenko centers. And they are working. And they cost more than 3 million hryvnias a month. The money comes from "sponsors" and businesses. And this is nothing more than a political bribe to attract voters by teaching pole dancing or English. Because who should these voters be grateful to in the next election? That's right. To the person whose name is in the name of the center, which he has nothing to do with financing.
I asked NABU to put this on the shelves. As well as other issues where official income does not match wealth. As for me, the sponsorship of my father-in-law from Gazprom should have ended by now," said Ihor Smelyansky.
He also stated that this is a response to Oleksiy Honcharenko's statement to the NABU, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General's Office regarding him and Tymofiy Mylovanov because of donations to the Armed Forces, from parcels sent by Ukrposhta.
Earlier, Oleksiy Honcharenko said that he had asked the State Audit Service of Ukraine to check where the money from each Ukrposhta parcel in Tymofiy Mylovanov's fund was spent.
"It's interesting that a state-owned company chooses the foundation of Yermak Mylovanov's former advisor to donate to the Armed Forces. Well, the scheme is very interesting. Now, let's have a report. Because this issue definitely needs to be audited. What was spent where and how," the MP said.
