Singer Nikita Kiselev responded to criticism directed at him following an incident involving a soldier at his concert. He apologized and wrote that he didn’t realize the man was feeling unwell.
Nikita Kiselev posted about this on social media.
The singer explained that the soldier came up on stage to join him while he was performing a song. They hugged and sang together. After that, the man left. According to Nikita Kiselev, he only found out after the concert that the man had become ill.
The singer noted that his security team’s behavior was inappropriate. He wrote that in such a situation, the first reaction should not be indifference, but rather an attempt to help the person and, if necessary, call for medical assistance.

The singer also acknowledged his own responsibility and expressed regret that he did not realize the seriousness of the situation.
“At the same time, I don’t want to place all the blame on others. I’m truly sorry that during the concert I didn’t realize how serious the situation was and didn’t stop the performance to personally make sure the man was all right. If I had realized what was happening, my reaction would have been different," he wrote.
The singer also noted that his team has learned from the situation and will discuss a protocol for similar cases with the organizers and security personnel.
