In Mykolaiv, plans are in place to designate five land plots with a total estimated area of 3,250 square meters for the installation of modular homes and the establishment of temporary housing for internally displaced persons.
Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych signed the corresponding order on September 10 .
The land plots in question are located on Bogoyavlensky Avenue in the Korabelny District of Mykolaiv. The approximate area of each of the five plots will be 650 square meters.
According to the order, the Department of Municipal Services must take all necessary steps to demarcate the plots and prepare land management documentation for their subsequent registration for permanent use.
When demarcating the land plots, their future use for the placement of modular homes and the establishment of temporary housing for IDPs must be taken into account.
The Department of Architecture and Urban Planning will also be involved in the project’s implementation. It is to assist in resolving issues related to the placement of modular homes and the development of temporary housing sites.
The document notes that, given the project’s social significance, the relevant measures must be implemented as soon as possible, while complying with the requirements of current legislation.
Mayor’s Order No. 440r was published on September 11, 2026.
However, the document does not contain information on the number of modular homes planned for installation on these plots, their cost, or sources of funding.
