In the Odesa region, men armed with rebar attacked a police car over the TCC

A new conflict has erupted in the Odesa region between local residents, the police, and representatives of the TCC. As a result, a police vehicle was damaged—it was struck with metal rebar.
This was reported by the press service of the National Police in the Odesa region.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of September 21 in one of the villages of the Rozdilna community. A community police officer, along with a precinct police officer and representatives of the Territorial Defense Corps and the Special Forces, were conducting joint public awareness activities.
According to law enforcement officials, while checking the documents of one of the local residents, it was discovered that he was wanted for violating military registration rules.
After that, his acquaintances arrived at the scene. They blocked the police vehicle’s path with two cars and began striking it with metal rods. As a result, the vehicle sustained damage.
Police detained one of the individuals involved in the incident. He has already been notified that he is suspected of resisting a law enforcement officer while the officer was performing his official duties.
Under this charge, the man faces up to two years in prison.
Law enforcement officers are currently identifying the other participants in the incident and investigating all the circumstances.
Earlier in Odesa, an incident occurred involving a serviceman from the district military recruitment office and a 13-year-old boy. A video of the altercation, in which a man in military uniform grabs the teenager, yanks him by the ears, and pins him against a car, was shared on social media.
Another serviceman from the Odesa Territorial Recruitment Center, along with accomplices, forcibly dragged men of draft age into a service vehicle, using tear gas and physical violence in the process. After pleading guilty, he reached a plea agreement with investigators and was sentenced by the court to five years and one month in prison.
