Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have launched attacks on the Kherson region using aircraft, artillery, and attack drones. As a result of the attacks, 10 people were injured, including two children.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

According to him, Kherson and more than 40 settlements in the region came under enemy fire. Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods.

As a result of the attacks, 10 high-rise buildings and 9 private homes were damaged, as well as a cultural center, a car repair shop, a gas pipeline, outbuildings, a private garage, and vehicles.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that as of 5:30 p.m. on August 8, four people were known to have been injured in Kherson. All of them sustained injuries as a result of attacks by Russian drones. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into these incidents under the article on war crimes.

In addition, at approximately 7:15 p.m., Russian forces attacked Kherson with a drone. According to the prosecutor’s office, three members of the same family were injured—a 45-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman, and their 12-year-old daughter. All received the necessary medical care.

Law enforcement officers and prosecutors continue to document the consequences of Russian attacks and gather evidence of yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation against the civilian population.

Earlier, Russian occupiers received orders to conduct so-called “free hunting” of vehicles in the Kherson region. To carry out their terrorist plans, they increased the presence of their drone units in the region.
