In Odessa, part of the city was without power due to repairs, and traffic patterns were altered

On August 25 in Odesa, some customers will experience power outages due to urgent equipment repairs, and public transit schedules will be adjusted in certain areas of the city.

DTEK “Odessa Power Grids” utility workers will be performing the work from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

To ensure the safety of the repair work, power will be temporarily shut off in parts of Odesa’s Kyivskyi and Primorskyi districts, as well as in the suburbs. Certain sections of Shevchenko Avenue, Novoschepny Row, and the following streets will be without power: Preobrazhenskaya, Vodoprovidnaya, Velyka and Malaya Arnautskaya, Kanatnaya, Pirogovskaya, Panteleimonivska, and Malinovskogo. The power outage will also affect Pryvokzalna and Starosinna Squares, as well as the “Stalkanat” area.

In the Kyiv and Khadzhibey districts, brief power outages are possible.

Meanwhile, the municipal enterprise “Odessmiskelektrotrans” reported that tram routes will be affected due to the substation shutdowns. Trams No. 5, No. 10, No. 13, No. 17, No. 18, and No. 28 will not be running. Route No. 7 will operate on the section from the 28th Brigade to Tiraspol Square, and Route No. 15 will run from Slobodka to Oleksiyivska Square. Trams No. 12 and No. 21 will operate on their regular routes.

Trolleybus service will also be affected. Route No. 2 will not be in service. Trolleybuses No. 3 and No. 8 will operate on their regular routes using diesel power. Route No. 7 will operate between Arkhitektorskaya and 10 Kvitnya Square, No. 9 between Inglese and 10 Kvitnya Square, and No. 10 between Inglese and the 4th station of Velykyi Fontan. Trolleybus No. 12 will run its regular route.

At the same time, critical infrastructure facilities will be supplied with electricity.

In the event of an air raid alert, the completion dates for repair work may be extended.
