Marat Korolyov, head of the Primorsky District Administration in Odesa, posted a video on his Facebook page showing how he gets to work during a Russian attack on the city.

The video is edited in the style of a spy thriller—the official shows his route and the situation during an air raid alert. The post was intended to demonstrate that city officials continue to work even during enemy attacks.

However, the post sparked a mixed reaction in the comments.

One user wrote that, in his opinion, the officials’ work is “00000 of any use to people,” adding the ironic phrase “Trust the actions.”

Another user disagreed with this assessment. She noted that she personally knows officials from this faction who, according to her, are helping both military personnel and civilians.

The author of the post also responded to one of the comments with the phrase“They’re out of ideas again, adding an emoji. In response, the user wrote that there are many people for whom, no matter what they do, “nothing is right,” comparing a person to a vessel that “spills whatever it’s filled with.” The author of the post agreed with this comment.

Thus, the video of the official’s commute to work during the attack sparked a discussion on social media—ranging from criticism of the officials’ actions to support for them.
