Dead and wounded: Russia attacks Kherson region non-stop

Over the past day, Kherson region was under massive attack by Russian troops. The enemy used drones, aircraft and artillery, shelling dozens of settlements, including Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Kozatske, Stanislav and the city of Kherson.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
Residential areas and critical and social infrastructure facilities were hit. The attacks damaged at least four high-rise buildings and nine private houses. A cell tower was also destroyed, and civilian cars and an ambulance were damaged.
According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, two people were killed and ten others were injured as a result of Russian aggression.
At the same time, Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson MVA , clarified that five settlements within the Kherson community came under fire: Kherson, Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Komyshany and Blahovishchenske.
Residential buildings and cars were damaged in the community. One person was killed and eleven others were injured in the shelling.
Separately, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office announced the opening of criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes (parts 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to the investigation, on April 1, 2026, Russian troops once again shelled the region's settlements with artillery, mortars, and attacked with drones of various types.
As of 17:30, it was confirmed that one person was killed and seven others were injured.
In particular, at about 11:15 a.m. in Kherson, a Russian drone dropped explosives on a civilian car, killing a passenger, injuring the driver and another woman. At around 10:30, two more women were injured in artillery shelling.
In the evening, three more people traveling by car in the city were hit by an enemy drone and are being treated.
Damage to private houses and vehicles was also reported. Prosecutors and police investigators are documenting war crimes committed by the Russian military.
At the same time, Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, noted that there was no shelling in Mykolaiv region.
