The Odesa City Council has announced a tender for the renovation of a section of the “Vidrada” beach. The plan is to equip the shoreline with facilities to provide barrier-free access and aquatic rehabilitation for people with disabilities and other groups with limited mobility.

This is according to data from the Prozorro system.

The plan is to reconstruct the section of the shoreline located between breakwaters No. 6-B and No. 6-V of the first phase of landslide prevention structures in Odesa. A budget of 29,994,957 hryvnias has been allocated for the work. The procurement will be funded from the local budget.

The project involves equipping the beach with wooden decking and installing three modular containers measuring 6×2.4 meters, which will house administrative and support facilities, a medical unit and restroom, as well as two interconnected containers for storing watercraft.

Access from the waterfront will be provided by a ramp and two sets of stairs (existing and renovated), with the staircases undergoing renovation to be equipped with an inclined electric lift, and all ramps and staircases to be fitted with double-sided handrails at heights of 700 and 900 mm.

The deadline for submitting bid proposals is August 26, 2026.

Previously, in Reni, a contractor was selected without competition for road repairs worth 7 million hryvnias—the firm belongs to a member of the Izmail City Council. The procurement was commissioned by the municipal organization “Housing and Utilities Service of the Reni City Council.”
