In Kherson, on the morning of August 31, a Russian drone attacked the grounds of a healthcare facility in the city center. Two employees of the facility were injured.

This was reported by the Kherson City Military Administration.

The attack occurred around 6:45 a.m. A 69-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man were injured. Both were diagnosed with concussions, blast injuries, and closed head injuries.

The victims were hospitalized. They are currently undergoing further medical examinations.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have attacked Kherson and dozens of settlements in the region using aircraft, artillery, and drones.

Among the targets were, in particular, Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Komyshany, Zelenivka, Dar’yivka, Stanislav, Novovorontsovka, Tyaginka, and other settlements.

Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. Eleven high-rise buildings and 15 private homes were damaged. An administrative building, a store, a moped, and private cars were also damaged.

In total, according to the Regional Military Administration, 16 people were injured as a result of the Russian aggression.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that as of 5:30 p.m. on August 30, 12 civilians had been injured as a result of enemy attacks—11 in Kherson and one in Novorayske.

The prosecutor’s office has launched pre-trial investigations into the Russian attacks under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—violation of the laws and customs of war. Prosecutors, together with investigators, are documenting the consequences of the shelling and gathering evidence of war crimes committed by Russian military personnel.

In addition, on August 30, 31 people were evacuated from liberated communities in the Kherson region.
