A hub for Special Forces veterans opened in Mykolaiv

Mykolaiv has become the tenth city in Ukraine to have a space to support the fighters of the Artan special forces.

These hubs operate as multidisciplinary centers where veterans can receive not only psychological and legal assistance, but also feel the same combat community in civilian life. The main goal of the project is to create a network of 'footholds' that help soldiers adapt, find new professional paths, and remain part of the DIU's large family even after active service.
The Mykolaiv hub of the DIU's Artan Special Forces has become not just an advisory center, but a platform for sharing unique combat experience. Here, active military personnel and their families receive moral support, and candidates for recruitment receive comprehensive data to make an informed decision about their service. The main mission of the project is to preserve the honor of those who have stayed in the ranks forever and to create a strong connection between the front and the rear.
According to Artan's commander Viktor Torkotiuk, the unit, which consists mostly of volunteers, functions as a single family. The commander emphasized that even after their service, their fellow Artan members should know that they are needed.
The activities of the DIU's veterans' spaces cover the full cycle of military service. While current soldiers receive the necessary support in the rear, candidates for service can go from interest to a balanced choice based on truthful information about the realities of the special forces. A special place in the work of the hubs is occupied by preserving continuity and honoring those who gave their lives for Ukraine.
"On the basis of the spaces, Artan veterans pass on their combat experience to young people. We initiate and support projects that consolidate the military and civilians. Our priority is to ensure that every soldier has a clear understanding after completing his service: he remains part of the team," the special forces emphasize.
