Traffic through a railway crossing is banned in Odesa

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has temporarily banned traffic through the railway crossing on the Odesa-Sorting-Odesa-Peresyp stretch located in the city.

The corresponding order was published by the press service of the municipality.

Traffic was banned from May 27 to June 5, or until the repair of the crossing is completed. The municipal institution "Specialized Installation and Maintenance Unit" of the Odesa City Council was instructed to develop a traffic management scheme during the traffic ban. Currently, the mayor's office has announced a change in the route of the city bus No. 110.

It will now run as follows

  • in the direction of the Kuyalnyk sanatorium - from Chornomorske Kozatstvo Street to 7 Peresypska Street, Lokomotivna Street, Lymanna Street and further along the route;
  • in the direction of the CEC "Vokzal" - from Lymanna Street to Lokomotyvna Street, 7th Peresypska Street, Ataman Holovaty Street and further along the route.

On the night of May 26, a drone strike caused fires and destruction in private households in Odesa district. A 14-year-old boy was injured in Velykodolynske as a result of an enemy attack. The teenager received cut wounds to his leg. He was treated by medics on the spot.

As a result of a Russian attack on the night of May 25, 20 cars were burning in a parking lot in Odesa, located among high-rise buildings. On the morning of May 24, it became known that a man who had been injured in a Russian missile attack on the port of Odesa on May 23 died in hospital. He was the third victim of that attack. On May 23, Russia launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles at the port infrastructure of Odesa. The attack killed a port worker. Eight other people were injured: four in serious condition, two in moderate condition, and two with minor injuries.
