Police drew up an administrative report against an Odesa resident whose daughter beat her classmate.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Odesa Oblast.

The police were informed about the fight between two eighth-grade students in class by the school management.

Juvenile police officers began to investigate the incident and found that the 13-year-old classmates had been friends before, but had recently stopped communicating. During the lesson, one girl thought that the other was filming her on her cell phone, and despite the presence of the teacher and other students in the classroom, she began to beat the latter.

The injured child with head, neck and abdominal injuries was taken by ambulance to a medical facility, where she was treated for several days.

The police drew up a report against the girl's mother, who started the fight, under Part 1 of Article 184 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. It qualifies the evasion of parents or persons in loco parentis from fulfilling their statutory obligations to ensure the necessary living conditions, education and upbringing of young and underage children. The woman faces a warning or a fine of up to UAH 1,700. The families of the two girls had not previously come to the attention of law enforcement.

Earlier, a kindergarten teacher in Odesa was fired from her job and her mentor colleague was suspended for the duration of an official inspection because of child abuse. The kids were forced to hold their hands up and squat when they disobeyed. She was also told that the children were pushed and forced to clean the toilets, but the information about the cleaning was not confirmed.
