In Kherson, employees of a drug treatment center received their salaries with an almost two-week delay.

As reported by the Vgoru newspaper, as of February 12, 2025, the staff of the medical facility had not yet received their salaries for January. According to them, there have been no such delays before.

The drug treatment center performs an important function: it has the only toxicology laboratory in the city that conducts alcohol and drug tests. Samples are delivered here from the regional hospital, the Karabelesh medical institution, as well as from Novovorontsovka and Velyka Oleksandrivka.

Tetyana Karchevych, director of the health department of Kherson Regional State Administration, confirmed that there was indeed a delay in payments. She explained that the center is financed through a subvention from the state budget, and the funds have already been transferred to treasury accounts. According to her, the employees were supposed to receive their salaries on February 13.

Later, the staff confirmed that the money had indeed been received.

Earlier, Intent reported that in Kherson , heating network workers are working in extremely difficult conditions and are forced to do double the amount of work due to a 40 percent understaffing.

Kherson and the right bank of the region are under daily shelling by Russian occupation forces. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has launched another massive attack on the Kherson region, attacking residential areas, critical infrastructure and civilian facilities. A multi-storey building, 12 private houses, the Point of Unbreakability, a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, a bus and several cars were damaged.

Before that, a police car hit a mine while evacuating a sick 60-year-old resident of frontline Odradokamianka.
