In Mykolaiv, at the intersection of two streets, a lawn is being illegally used as a parking lot. It turned out that the parking lot was also set up by police officers who are supposed to keep order.

This was reported by Dmytro Ryabchenko, a freelance inspector of the State Environmental Inspectorate.

At the intersection of Velyka Morskaya and Dekabristov streets, the citizens chose to park their cars there . According to the environmental inspector, the problem is not new - back in August last year, it was discussed at the level of the regional police department, after which the situation stabilized for a while. No one parked there for a month.

However, now everything has returned to its previous state. The most egregious thing is the fact that there are many police officers among the offenders.

It seems that traffic rules are not for everyone. It's especially unfortunate that those who are supposed to enforce them ignore the law themselves. And what's even worse is that public utilities refuse to respond," Ryabchenko said.

The inspector again appealed to the deputy chief of the regional police, trying to draw attention to the problem. He emphasizes: if those who are supposed to be an example for others break the rules, how can they demand law-abidingness from citizens?

Recently, residents of Mykolaiv asked the local authorities to pay attention to a dangerous intersection where traffic accidents often occur. They suggested installing a traffic light to improve the situation, as there are days when several accidents occur in this area in a row.

In addition, residents expressed dissatisfaction with tree branches falling on balconies and abandoned benches that have become unusable. They called on the municipal services to clean up the area. Residents of the private sector also faced the problem of untimely household waste collection. Employees of Mykolaivkomuntrans refused to pick up bags of fallen leaves, explaining that there were too many bags.
