In Crimea, only about 80% of settlements are gasified, and the lack of funds and limited capacity of the pipeline from Krasnodar region prevent to complete the connection of all districts.

This was reported by Krym.Realii.

Only about 80% of the settlements in the temporarily occupied Crimea are gasified. According to the so-called "head" of Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, 78-80% of settlements are currently gasified. about 40 billion rubles are needed to fully connect all communities.

The worst situation with gasification is currently in Belogorsk, Pervomaisk, Sovetsk and Nizhnegorsk districts. Project documentation is already being prepared for Belogorsk, but the process is complicated by problems with the pipeline's capacity in Krasnodar Krai. As noted in the media, some facilities are on the verge of being out of service, offshore fields are not being used, and drilling rigs are "under attack," which is why there is practically no own production base.

For comparison, in 2017, the same official of the occupiers promised that 98% of Crimean settlements would be gasified by 2020. However, by the end of 2025, the situation had hardly changed. At that time, the racist media estimated the level of gasification of the peninsula at 73.4%. Prior to the annexation of Crimea in 2013, according to sources of the time, gasification was about 67%.

Also, the pace of gasification has slowed significantly due to a shortage of budget funds, which are not enough even for projects with ready-made design and estimate documentation.

In September, Ukraine imposed new sanctions on 66 people and 13 organizations associated with the activities of the occupation authorities in Crimea and support for the Russian army. The restrictions applied to both propagandists and collaborators, as well as companies and institutions that facilitate the integration of the peninsula into the Russian legal system.
