An incident occurred in the Peresypskyi district of Odesa during a mobilization check, which was caught on video circulating on social media. The military claims that the video does not reflect the full chronology of events, and that the conscript allegedly resisted and attacked one of them.
This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional Military Training Center and JV.
According to the press service, a video of the incident, which occurred on February 4, 2026, in the Peresypskyi district of Odesa during mobilization activities, was posted on social media. It was preliminarily established that during the inspection of military registration documents, the mobilization group found a conscript who was wanted for violating the rules of military registration.
The man reacted aggressively to the legitimate request of the servicemen to go to the district center to clarify his credentials and draw up documents. According to preliminary information, he tried to physically resist and attacked one of the soldiers.
As the agency emphasized, measures of physical influence were applied to the conscript to stop the illegal actions, self-defense and administrative detention. After that, he was taken to the TCC and JV to draw up administrative materials and carry out all the necessary procedures.
The agency also emphasized that the video, which is being distributed on social media, does not show the full chronology of events and contains signs of editing, which may distort the actual circumstances of the incident, in particular the moment when the conscript began his illegal actions.
Therefore, the management of the Odesa Regional Military Training and Evaluation Center initiated an internal investigation to objectively assess the actions of all participants in the incident and to verify that the military complied with the law and service instructions. Based on the results of the inspection, a legal assessment will be provided and a decision will be made.
At the same time, a resident of Odesa region was found guilty of obstructing the work of military TCCs near the 7 kilometer market. One soldier was injured. The man fully admitted his guilt and entered into a plea agreement with the prosecutor, and the court released him from serving a three-year probationary sentence.
