Renovation of a school with a stadium for 90 million was initiated in Odesa region

A school in Odesa Oblast was to be renovated with the addition of a building, gymnasium, and stadium. The cost of the reconstruction was estimated at more than 190 million, but the first tender was canceled.
This is evidenced by data from the DREAM ecosystem.
A large-scale reconstruction of the local school is planned in the village of Karolino-Buhaz in Odesa region. The project involves the completion of a building for primary school, a new gym and a modern stadium. The implementation should provide education for 275 students and jobs for more than fifty teachers and staff.
According to the description, the working draft has already been approved and meets the requirements of safety, energy efficiency, and accessibility for people with disabilities and other low-mobility groups. In addition, the school is equipped with a civil defense shelter with a capacity of 500 people.

The total budget for the reconstruction is over UAH 193 million. So far, funding has been confirmed at the level of 90 million, which is 46.5% of the total need. The source of funds is the state budget - in particular, a subvention under the Emergency Credit Program for the Restoration of Ukraine.
On July 24, 2025, a tender for more than UAH 189 million was announced for the works. The auction was supposed to take place on August 11, but due to technical errors during the publication of the procurement, the auction had to be canceled.

The reconstruction was initiated by the Karolino-Buhazka village council, and the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine was designated as the main spending unit. The project is expected to create 14 new jobs, which will be an additional incentive for the economic development of the community.
According to local authorities, the reconstruction of the school is part of the Unified Project Portfolio for the Recovery of Ukraine and is in line with the government's priority to restore social infrastructure damaged by the war.

In Odesa, repairs to the Lanzheronivskyi lyceum have also resumed. The work, which began back in 2021, after adjusting the project, involves not only renovating the building but also modernizing the entire territory of the institution. The total cost is more than UAH 71.6 million, but currently the confirmed funding is only 13.55%.
