In Mykolaiv region, compensation worth more than 600 million has already been approved under the eRestoration program. More than UAH 1.4 billion worth of housing certificates have been issued, and 24 people have received cash compensation for construction.
This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
Since the start of the eRestoration program, 8914 applications for compensation for damaged property have been received in Mykolaiv region. The commissions have already approved compensation in the amount of over UAH 646 million for 5773 applicants.
In addition, 5336 homeowners received the first payment of compensation in the amount of over UAH 456 million, and 346 people received the second payment in the amount of over UAH 38 million. This will allow them to restore their damaged property after the Russian shelling.
In addition, according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 600 of 30.05.2023, 1708 applications were submitted for the purchase of new property to compensate for the destroyed property. After review by the commission, 1155 owners received compensation in the form of housing certificates worth over UAH 1 billion 446 million, and 24 citizens received cash compensation for construction worth over UAH 34 million.
Residents of rural areas of Mykolaiv region who receive compensation for destroyed houses under the eRestoration program are increasingly leaving their villages to move to cities or other regions. The cost of a compensation certificate for destroyed housing ranges from 1 to 2 million hryvnias, which allows you to buy an apartment in the regional center or a small town.
Over the past year, the City Council's Department of State Architectural and Construction Control has recorded more than 500 damaged houses, 400 apartments, and a number of non-residential and social facilities. Currently, two commissions are working to examine the consequences of the latest shelling in two districts, after which checklists are being drawn up for the eRestoration program.
