24 million allocated for installation of solar power plant in Mykolaiv region

In Mykolaiv region, a major overhaul of the power grid of a critical infrastructure facility with the connection of a solar power plant is planned. More than UAH 24 million was allocated for the reconstruction.
This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro procurement system.
A tender has been announced in Novyi Buh, Mykolaiv region, for the overhaul of the critical infrastructure power grid system with the connection of solar power plant equipment. The expected cost of the work is over UAH 24.8 million, and it is planned to be completed by the end of February 2026.
The customer is Vodoprovodnye Netsy utility company of the Novobug City Council. The tender involves electrical works at the complex of buildings and structures No. 2. The auction is scheduled for December 25.
According to the terms of the procurement, payment is to be made in 30% advance upon signing the contract and the balance in 70% upon completion of the works. The customer notes that the main criterion for selecting the winner is the lowest bid price.

The tender documents contain the terms of reference, a working draft, and a list of qualification requirements for participants. These include the availability of equipment, qualified employees, and experience in performing similar work. They also provide grounds for refusing admission to the tender, including corruption or economic offenses, connections with other participants or the customer, and unfulfilled obligations under previous contracts.
Any company that meets the qualification criteria can participate in the tender, and the tender is open to the public, without any preliminary bid security. The winning contractor will be responsible for the full cycle of electrical installation and connection of the solar power plant, which is part of the program to modernize critical infrastructure in Mykolaiv region.
Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions are characterized by favorable geographical location, developed agricultural sector and great potential for green energy development. At the same time, regular shelling, lack of investment, and infrastructure damage hinder the introduction of renewable energy sources. Intent has studied the experience of three communities in southern Ukraine that are actively implementing energy-efficient technologies.
