The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in turn, donated dump trucks to the community as part of the Emergency Recovery Program (Phase 2) under the Grant Agreement between JICA and the Government of Ukraine.
"Three new dump trucks have been added to the fleet of the City Road Department. They will be involved in ongoing work to eliminate the consequences of enemy shelling, install gabions, landscaping and further restore our community," the official said.
Earlier, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) provided Kherson with two new SONAROL SNR 210 tractors . The tractors are equipped with attachments and will be used to eliminate the consequences of shelling, transport materials and carry out repairs in the city. In early December, Kherson received three trucks and spare parts from Japan worth approximately $766,036.
Before that, the Kherson water utility received modern equipment. Thus, the company received a Komatsu WB97S-5E0 universal all-wheel drive backhoe loader that combines modern design, high safety and excellent performance. This is the first time that Khersonvodokanal's fleet has been replenished with Japanese equipment from this manufacturer. The excavator, adapted to work in difficult climatic and road conditions, performs a wide range of functions and is characterized by high maneuverability during operation.
