Kherson region has received new equipment that will help restore de-occupied communities.
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, with the financial support of the Razom for Ukraine charity organization, two Scout TE-504 mini-tractors with a capacity of 50 horsepower were purchased for the needs of the Dobrobat mobile brigades.
"The equipment will be used to provide free assistance to local residents: repairing houses, preparing for winter, delivering construction materials, and responding quickly to emergencies ," explained KHOVA.
In total, the equipment will be used in nine settlements. In addition, they plan to purchase trailers for tractors so that mobile teams can fulfill their important mission even more effectively.
Earlier, the fleet of the Beryslav community in the Kherson region was replenished with four more vehicles. The community delegation visited the Swedish city of Visby in the Gotland municipality. As part of the agreement, the foreign partners donated four cars to help the residents of Beryslav.
Also, thanks to the Grant Agreement between the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Government of Ukraine under the Emergency Recovery Program "Immediate Improvement of Waste Management from Destruction", the municipal enterprises of the Kherson City Council received new equipment. Four new dump trucks were delivered to the city's Parks of Kherson, Ecopolis, and City Road Department.
In addition, the Kherson water utility received modern equipment. This time, the company received a Komatsu WB97S-5E0 universal all-wheel drive backhoe loader that combines modern design, high safety and excellent performance. This is the first time that Khersonvodokanal's fleet has been replenished with Japanese equipment from this manufacturer. The excavator, adapted to work in difficult climatic and road conditions, performs a wide range of functions and is characterized by high maneuverability during operation.
